KDE's Supporting Members Newsletter
As we close out the third quarter of 2025, the KDE community continues to demonstrate what’s possible when open collaboration meets a shared vision for the future of technology.
With KDE’s 29th anniversary just around the corner, we’re not only looking back on how far we have come, but we are taking meaningful steps forward, together.
This quarter was marked by steady development, deeper engagement, and ongoing refinement across KDE projects. From polishing Plasma 6 to strengthening our app ecosystem and growing our contributor base, Q3 was all about collective progress and real-world impact.
KDE’s 29th anniversary is a perfect time to celebrate by making a difference. It’s also International E-Waste Day and marks the end of support for Windows 10, creating a unique opportunity to help others transition to free and open alternatives like KDE’s software.
Whether it’s a repair café, a Linux installation fest, or teaming up with a local computer shop, we encourage you to host an event that brings KDE to your community. And with International Repair Day just around the corner on 18 October, why not make it a week of action? Learn more and get inspired at EndOf10.org.
